Dr Bernadette Flynn (Armati)

Bernadette has first-hand knowledge of early feminism, or “second wave feminism”, of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Armati lived in the late 1970s a lesbian separatist in alternative housing with other women around North London. She is currently working as a museum's expert and am a lover of local history. Armati lives in Spencer on the Hawkesbury where she ruminates on how people engage with place and think themselves into and within the landscape.

 

Camilla Drieberg

Camilla is a young opinionated student, raised by a strong single mother whose wisdom prepared her to challenge the norms of contemporary western society. She is interested in looking at humans’ loss of connection to the land, which in turn catalyses loss of connection to the self, and is passionate about improving women’s education in relation to sex positivity. Having grown up in a society conditioned by social media, Camila is fighting against the superficiality that is damaging young women’s’ self-esteem, advocating for self-acceptance and love for one’s natural body.

Jane Bennett

Jane is a semi-retired independent consultant with experience in Aboriginal health, biodiversity conservation, public policy, community development and life. Jane has been an anthropological ecologist and has had a long-standing interest in female dominance hierarchy. She has two daughters and two sisters and many wonderful women friends who have shared her journey. At present Jane is developing women's circles and trips through Seven Sisters Journeys.

 

Aimee Aroha

Aimee is the Founder of The Stoned Chrysalis, a Sex Positive Lifestyle and Sex Toy label. The brand aims to encourage a more sexually empowered and instinctual lifestyle through ethically sourced products, the sharing of stories and resources. Aimee is also a 31 year old single mother living off grid in the Blue Mountains area, studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Sociology with experience in the Community Development sector.
